Funeral and Memorial Services
at All Saints

If you live in the Parish of All Saints, or if you have a connection to the Church, and you would like to talk about planning a funeral, please be in touch, and we can discuss what would work best for you.

All Saints offers pastoral support through the planning of a funeral or memorial service. Once a date for the funeral has been agreed, a priest will meet with the next of kin, and if it is helpful other family members, to hear stories about the person who has died and to plan the service.

We work closely with local funeral directors to make sure that the process of planning the service is as easy as possible in a time when the number of things to do can feel overwhelming.

We will make sure that the service reflects the life of the person who has died, and allows those who love them to give thanks for them, to share memories, and to commend them to God.

We are happy to discuss different musical options, varying from classical and traditional to modern music.

Our One Bread café manager is able to talk to you about refreshments afterwards if that would be helpful.

For those for whom the sacraments are particularly important, we can offer a requiem mass.

Each year we remember those who have died at All Souls, at the beginning of November. We invite those who have been bereaved to come to remember their loved ones, as their names are read in church, and to light a candle in their memory.
