About One Bread

Launched in 2021, One Bread Cafe was born from our vision as a church to create a genuinely welcoming space for the Hove community. Whether you’re popping in for a quiet coffee, catching up with friends over lunch, or looking for somewhere to let the little ones play, you’ll always find a warm welcome here.

We serve speciality Skylark coffee alongside a range of loose leaf teas and soft drinks, with delicious cakes, pastries, and our much-loved toasted sandwiches.

One Bread is a 100% owned trading subsidiary of All Saints Church, a registered charity. All profits are reinvested to support our community projects and the care of our beautiful Grade I listed building.

Find us

One Bread is inside the main All Saints Church building, with entrances on The Drive and Eaton Road.

Monday – Friday, 9am – 4pm

Closed on bank holidays

Stay & Play

We offer a free stay and play space for babies and toddlers, with a variety of toys and activities to keep little ones happily occupied while their grown-ups enjoy a coffee. We also have high chairs, buggy space, and baby changing facilities. Open weekdays, 9am – 4pm.

On Monday afternoons and Tuesday mornings we host Little Fishes — a free, relaxed playgroup for babies, toddlers, and parents. We provide all the toys, plus activities including storytelling, singing, and dancing. There’s a suggested donation of £3 per family. Check our events calendar for dates and just turn up!

Bring your group

One Bread is a beautiful and flexible space for groups, clubs, meetings, and coffee mornings. Our team can arrange a table or a larger area for your group — and it’s completely free to book. All we ask is that your attendees grab a coffee while they’re here.

Past and present groups include the local U3A, a backgammon club, an origami group, kids’ yoga, and NCT meetups. We’d love to hear how you’d like to use the space.

Skylark source superb beans through savvy buying, expert roasting, and close producer relationships, then give every penny of profit to charities working on the margins, including the Knepp Wildland Foundation and Pro Baristas.
