On Sunday 8th November at 2:30pm, we stopped for a short Act of Remembrance at Grand Avenue War Memorial in Hove. Led by Fr. Ryan Green, the short service was attended by the Mayor of Brighton and Hove, Cllr. Alan Robins alongside Mayoral Consort Val Cawley, Cllr. John Allcock and representatives from the Royal Marines, Sea Cadets and Hove Police Inspector who all laid a wreath on behalf of the their respective colleagues who were not able to join owing to the number restrictions in place due to COVID-19.
The service was formed in conjunction with Brighton and Hove city council Remembrance Committee and All Saints Church, Hove as part of their civic role.
